Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks and trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Packing: Verify and inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, damage, and shortages.
- Organization: Package and label items according to company standards and customer requirements.
- Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Equipment: Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inventory: Assist with inventory control and stock replenishment as needed.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory checks and strong attention to detail.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to follow safety protocols.
- Schedule: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends if necessary.
- Certification: Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
