Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, ensuring cargo is secured properly.
- Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing inventory against packing lists and shipping manifests.
- Organize warehouse stock in designated areas to maintain optimal storage conditions and efficient workflow.
- Operate material handling equipment according to OSHA safety standards and company protocols.
- Conduct daily safety inspections of the work area and report any hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Assist in inventory audits and cycle counting to ensure data accuracy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is a plus but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to operational procedures.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
