Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload shipments using pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual handling techniques
- Verify inventory accuracy through systematic scanning and documentation
- Maintain organized warehouse layout following FIFO principles
- Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) with OSHA compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Perform daily equipment safety checks and report maintenance needs
- Support inventory cycle counts and reconciliation processes
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- OSHA certification for forklift operation (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory scanning systems
- Valid California driver's license (if operating company vehicles)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
