Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Inspect and verify incoming/outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage
- Maintain organized inventory systems with precise record-keeping
- Operate machinery efficiently while adhering to OSHA safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and report operational issues
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds consistently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- OSHA 10-hour certification a plus
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions
