Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks and shipping containers, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Sort, organize, and stage merchandise for shipping and receiving areas efficiently.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Perform inventory checks and assist in inventory management processes.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Package goods securely to prevent damage during transit.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (preferred but not strictly required).
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50-70 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and ticket verification.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
