Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise from trucks and trailers using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report any issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Ensure accurate labeling and placement of products in designated storage areas to maintain inventory organization.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area by adhering to all safety protocols and 5S standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines efficiently.
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movement and update stock levels accurately.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read and understand product labels and inventory lists.
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety and reliability.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not strictly required for entry-level positions.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
