Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks and pallets using appropriate equipment (hand trucks, dollies, forklifts).
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, check for damages, and ensure accurate stock counts.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision and speed.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery after proper certification.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or material handling experience is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counts; proficiency with handheld scanners.
- Availability: Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Certification: Forklift certification is highly desirable.
