Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks and containers using appropriate equipment.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely (training provided).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Organization: Maintain organized warehouse aisles and staging areas to ensure smooth workflow.
- Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies immediately to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Flexible availability including weekends and night shifts is a plus.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required.
- Communication: Basic reading and math skills; ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic and a desire to learn new skills through our training program.
