Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure operational safety and efficiency
- Scan and sort packages according to destination and priority
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following OSHA standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping/receiving targets
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification through our paid training program
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions (coolers/freezers)
