Responsibilities
- Efficiently load/unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual techniques
- Verify inventory accuracy and maintain organized warehouse records
- Safely operate material handling equipment following OSHA guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets
- Inspect goods for damage and report discrepancies to supervisors
- Maintain clean and safe work environment through regular housekeeping
- Participate in cross-functional logistics projects as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year warehouse experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Reliable transportation to Bakersfield facility
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends
