Responsibilities
- Load and unload pallets and packages onto and off of trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect cargo for damage and ensure proper loading techniques to prevent breakage.
- Utilize handheld scanners and warehouse management software to track inventory accurately.
- Sort, organize, and stage merchandise in designated storage areas to optimize workflow.
- Perform daily safety checks on equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse floor to comply with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate scanning equipment.
- Willingness to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license is a plus for local driving tasks.
