Responsibilities
- Move materials and products efficiently throughout the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
- Inspect and maintain material handling equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Operate automated inventory systems to track and record material movements
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production and shipping targets
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate records
- Load and unload shipments while verifying documentation and quantities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification a plus
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or material handling experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy with inventory software familiarity
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset
