Responsibilities
- Oversee 15+ person night shift team with precision scheduling and performance coaching
- Optimize inventory flow using WMS systems (SAP/JDA experience preferred)
- Enforce OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Coordinate cross-functional operations (receiving, packing, shipping) with 24/7 teams
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Generate shift reports and maintain real-time inventory accuracy
- Train new hires on warehouse automation technologies
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in high-volume distribution
- Forklift certification and heavy equipment operation skills
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and EHS protocols
- Proficiency in WMS systems and inventory management software
- Ability to work independently during off-peak hours with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
