Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack Orders: Accurately select and prepare customer orders according to pick lists and packing slips.
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners provided by the company.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist in stock organization and rotation.
- Load and Unload: Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks while ensuring cargo safety and security.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and ensure all packaging meets quality standards before shipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the picking area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred, but not required (entry-level candidates welcome).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and walk on various floor surfaces.
- Equipment Training: Willingness to obtain forklift certification or pallet jack training on-site.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain high accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible hours including overtime if needed.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
