Responsibilities
- Order Picking: Accurately pick and prepare customer orders using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Control: Verify product quantities and locations to ensure stock accuracy and prevent errors.
- Packing & Labeling: Properly pack items for shipment, ensuring they are secure and labeled correctly.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of picking equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow operations.
- Stock Organization: Assist in maintaining an organized warehouse layout and returning stock to designated areas.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when reading orders and scanning barcodes.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic for inventory counts and order verification.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential for this role.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
