As a Warehouse Picker, you play a crucial role in our supply chain, ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently using handheld scanners and warehouse management software.
- Inspect items for damage and ensure proper packaging materials are used to prevent breakage.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse floor, keeping aisles clear and shelves stocked.
- Load and unload merchandise from delivery trucks using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification preferred but training available).
- Follow all safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors regarding inventory discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills required for scanning and inventory verification.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and minimize errors.
- High school diploma or equivalent GED.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods (8+ hours).
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
