Responsibilities
- Accurate Order Fulfillment: Retrieve, verify, and pack customer orders using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems with 99.9% accuracy.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels by tagging and organizing stock areas according to company standards.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered industrial trucks (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and conveyor systems as required by training.
- Quality Control: Inspect packages for damage and ensure proper labeling and sealing before dispatch.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and workplace safety guidelines to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and other warehouse associates to meet daily production targets and efficiency goals.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, order fulfillment, or logistics is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, walk continuously, and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to verify product codes and quantities quickly.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends when necessary.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen; valid driver’s license required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
