Responsibilities
- Locate and retrieve merchandise from storage areas using handheld scanners and pick lists.
- Package items securely for shipment, ensuring all labels and barcodes are accurate.
- Inspect products for damage or defects before packing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certified operators preferred).
- Process inbound and outbound shipments efficiently to meet daily productivity targets.
- Collaborate with team leads to resolve inventory discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or retail environment is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in various weather conditions (loading docks).
- Valid forklift certification is highly desirable.
