Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Manage 10-15 team members through scheduling, training, and performance coaching
- Implement lean principles to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Conduct cycle counts and audits to maintain 99.5% inventory accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional communication with purchasing, sales, and transportation teams
- Utilize WMS systems to track inventory and generate performance reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in distribution or manufacturing
- Proven leadership skills with ability to develop high-performing teams
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety management training
- Advanced proficiency in WMS software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in process optimization
- Excellent problem-solving abilities under pressure
- Forklift certification and hazardous materials handling knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
