Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor 15+ warehouse staff through daily operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Implement lean inventory management practices to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a safe, organized work environment
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency
- Train staff on new equipment and safety protocols
- Generate daily/weekly performance reports and KPI analysis
- Collaborate with transportation teams to meet delivery deadlines
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in distribution or logistics
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Forklift certification and equipment operation experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Experience with inventory audits and cycle counting
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
