Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor a team of warehouse staff, providing training and performance feedback
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies
- Optimize inventory control systems and implement cycle counting procedures
- Coordinate with transportation teams for timely delivery scheduling
- Resolve operational issues and implement process improvements
- Generate daily/weekly reports on productivity and inventory metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Forklift certification and experience with material handling equipment
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Knowledge of Hawaii shipping regulations and port operations
