Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor 15+ warehouse staff, ensuring optimal productivity and performance standards
- Implement and enforce OSHA compliance protocols, maintaining a zero-accident workplace
- Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, including inventory control, cycle counting, and order fulfillment
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to reduce costs by 15%+ annually
- Utilize WMS (Warehouse Management System) for real-time inventory tracking and reporting
- Collaborate with transportation and sales teams to resolve operational challenges
- Conduct regular safety training and equipment maintenance checks
- Generate performance analytics and improvement reports for senior leadership
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced distribution environments
- OSHA 30-Hour certification or equivalent safety credentials
- Proficiency in WMS platforms (e.g., Manhattan, Oracle, SAP)
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution capabilities
- Associates degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
