Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage team of 10+ warehouse staff through scheduling, training, and performance coaching
- Implement inventory control systems and conduct regular cycle counts
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company policies
- Optimize space utilization and material handling processes
- Coordinate with transportation teams for efficient dock scheduling
- Generate performance reports and identify improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience with 2+ years in supervisory role
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
