Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular safety audits.
- Manage inventory accuracy and coordinate cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Train, mentor, and supervise warehouse staff to ensure high performance and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures.
- Collaborate with management to meet production targets and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) or willingness to obtain certification.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and computer applications (Excel, SAP, Oracle).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
