Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse associates through performance coaching and scheduling
- Implement safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance and accident-free workplace
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes for maximum efficiency and cost reduction
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock-to-dock logistics
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate records
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems to management
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with proven leadership track record
- Forklift certification and proficiency with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making under pressure
- Excellent communication skills for team coordination and stakeholder updates
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
