Responsibilities
- Lead 10-15 person team in daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols and inventory control procedures
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to maximize productivity and minimize costs
- Conduct regular staff training on equipment operation and safety standards
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and system reconciliations
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock operations
- Generate performance reports and recommend operational improvements
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse supervisory experience in fast-paced environments
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate diverse teams
- Advanced knowledge of inventory management principles
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
