Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage and supervise all daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping to ensure optimal workflow efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates, fostering a positive and productive work culture.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate stock records.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvement and implement strategies to reduce costs and increase productivity.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and calibration of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and conveyors.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze operational reports to provide management with key performance indicators and actionable insights.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification: Valid forklift certification and OSHA 10-hour certification are mandatory.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams effectively and handle conflict resolution with professionalism.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
