Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping processes
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of 15+ warehouse associates through performance coaching and development
- Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure OSHA compliance and accident prevention
- Optimize inventory control systems through cycle counts, audits, and WMS utilization
- Coordinate cross-functional workflows with transportation, purchasing, and customer service teams
- Analyze operational metrics to identify efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities
- Manage facility maintenance, equipment scheduling, and vendor relationships
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse experience with at least 1 year in supervisory capacity
- Proven expertise in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control methodologies
- Forklift certification and strong knowledge of material handling equipment
- Exceptional leadership skills with ability to develop high-performing teams
- Strong analytical abilities with experience in process improvement initiatives
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic data analysis tools
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
