Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor a team of 10-15 warehouse associates, ensuring productivity and safety standards
- Optimize inventory control systems and implement process improvements
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce OSHA compliance protocols
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure timely delivery schedules
- Prepare operational reports and performance metrics for leadership review
- Train staff on equipment operation and warehouse procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of team leadership and performance optimization
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends as needed
- Forklift certification and experience with industrial equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree a plus
