Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping activities
- Implement and maintain OSHA safety protocols with zero-tolerance policy violations
- Manage team performance through coaching, scheduling, and disciplinary actions
- Optimize inventory control systems to achieve 99.5%+ accuracy rates
- Conduct regular process audits and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate cross-functional operations with transportation and procurement teams
- Generate performance reports and KPI dashboards for executive review
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience with team leadership responsibilities
- OSHA 30-hour certification and Forklift Operator certification required
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in inventory management
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution expertise
- Valid NC driver's license with clean driving record
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
