Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse associates through performance coaching and scheduling
- Implement and optimize safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance and zero-accident standards
- Coordinate with logistics team to ensure seamless transportation dock operations
- Conduct cycle counts and manage inventory accuracy within WMS systems
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Resolve escalated customer service issues related to warehouse operations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience in a high-volume distribution center
- Proven track record in team leadership and workforce development
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and warehouse best practices
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software
- Ability to analyze operational metrics and implement data-driven solutions
- Forklift certification and experience with material handling equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
