Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Train and supervise 15+ team members on safety protocols and operational procedures
- Optimize workflow using WMS systems to maintain 99.5% inventory accuracy
- Implement lean practices to reduce processing time by 20% quarterly
- Conduct daily safety audits and OSHA compliance reviews
- Collaborate with logistics team to ensure seamless dock-to-dock operations
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse experience with 2+ years in supervisory role
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operator license required
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI tracking
- Proven leadership in union and non-union environments
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varied temperature conditions
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Operations preferred
