Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 team members, assigning tasks and ensuring productivity targets are met
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, including inventory tracking and cycle counts
- Optimize warehouse layout and material handling processes for maximum efficiency
- Train staff on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks) and warehouse systems
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems to management
- Generate daily/weekly reports on productivity, inventory accuracy, and safety metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory management software
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends if needed
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
