Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff, assigning tasks and ensuring productivity targets
- Implement safety protocols and conduct regular inspections to maintain OSHA compliance
- Manage inventory control systems, including cycle counts and reconciliation
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient loading/unloading of shipments
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize space utilization
- Train staff on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks) and safety procedures
- Generate daily/weekly reports on performance metrics and inventory status
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in fast-paced environments
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., WMS)
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development track record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required for Laredo operations
- Valid Texas driver's license
