Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, and shipping processes
- Lead and mentor 15+ team members through performance coaching and skill development
- Implement and maintain OSHA safety protocols to ensure zero-accident environment
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize space utilization and efficiency
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and WMS system oversight
- Coordinate cross-functional operations with transportation and purchasing departments
- Generate performance reports and KPI tracking for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years warehouse experience with 2+ years in supervisory role
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety credentials
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active) and inventory management
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and FDA regulations
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams in fast-paced environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and data-driven decision making
- Forklift certification and hazardous materials handling experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
