Responsibilities
- Supervise 15-20 warehouse staff, ensuring daily task completion and performance standards
- Optimize inventory control procedures using WMS systems to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and conduct weekly safety training sessions
- Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, including truck loading/unloading schedules
- Analyze operational metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements
- Manage cross-functional relationships with procurement, transportation, and sales teams
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced distribution environments
- Forklift certification and proficiency with warehouse management systems
- Strong leadership skills with proven track record of team development
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
- Excellent problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making ability
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
