Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Implement lean inventory management systems to reduce costs by 15%
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain accident-free workplace records
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling
- Conduct weekly cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum space utilization
- Generate daily operational reports for senior leadership
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Kaizen principles
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervision experience in logistics or manufacturing
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety credentials
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- Strong problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making
- Forklift certification and equipment operation experience
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights/weekends
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification a plus
