Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment
- Manage team of 15+ warehouse associates with performance reviews and training
- Implement OSHA compliance protocols and maintain safety standards
- Optimize inventory control systems and conduct cycle counts
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and purchasing departments
- Analyze operational metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Handle equipment maintenance schedules and forklift operator training
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in fast-paced environments
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operation expertise
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development success
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in climate-controlled warehouse
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain or equivalent experience required
