Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff, scheduling shifts and delegating daily tasks
- Implement and maintain OSHA safety protocols and warehouse security procedures
- Optimize inventory management systems, including cycle counts and stock reconciliation
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock operations and loading/unloading
- Train and develop staff on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
- Generate daily/weekly performance reports for operational efficiency analysis
- Resolve workflow bottlenecks and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in distribution/logistics
- OSHA 30-Hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory software
- Forklift certification and equipment operation expertise
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
