Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Direct and mentor a team of warehouse associates, conducting performance reviews and providing ongoing training to maximize productivity.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, manage inventory discrepancies, and implement procedures to minimize waste and optimize storage space.
- Equipment Oversight: Manage the usage and maintenance of warehouse equipment (we provide the tools).
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in current workflows and implement solutions to improve operational workflows and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or logistics management.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Business preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Certification: Valid Forklift Certification is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude.
