Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes
- Manage and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse associates through performance coaching and training
- Implement lean methodologies to optimize inventory accuracy and reduce operational costs
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety protocols and company quality standards
- Coordinate with transportation and inventory control teams for seamless workflow
- Utilize WMS systems for inventory tracking, reporting, and process improvement
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience in high-volume distribution centers
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operator certification required
- Proven experience with warehouse management systems (e.g., Manhattan, Oracle)
- Strong leadership skills with ability to develop high-performing teams
- Expertise in inventory control, safety compliance, and process optimization
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
