Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping of high-volume inventory
- Manage and mentor a team of 12-15 warehouse associates, ensuring safety compliance and productivity targets
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate warehouse management system records
- Coordinate with transportation teams for timely outbound shipments and inbound deliveries
- Enforce OSHA safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment
- Generate performance reports and KPIs for continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced logistics environments
- Proven track record of meeting productivity and safety standards
- Strong knowledge of WMS systems and inventory control methodologies
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jacks) safely
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
