Responsibilities
- Direct daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and shipping
- Lead and mentor 25+ warehouse staff through performance reviews and training programs
- Implement lean methodologies to optimize workflow and reduce operational costs
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and WMS system oversight
- Collaborate with logistics team to coordinate transportation and distribution
- Analyze operational metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience in high-volume distribution centers
- Proven track record of leading teams of 20+ employees
- Expert knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and warehouse safety protocols
- Advanced proficiency with WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI monitoring and reporting
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
