Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Train and supervise 10-15 warehouse associates to ensure peak productivity and safety standards
- Implement lean methodologies to optimize workflow and reduce operational costs
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce OSHA compliance protocols
- Manage inventory control systems and report discrepancies to leadership
- Coordinate with transportation teams for efficient dock scheduling
- Generate performance reports and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in a distribution center
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle WMS)
- Strong problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making ability
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred
- Excellent leadership and conflict resolution capabilities
