Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Optimize warehouse layout and inventory management systems for maximum efficiency
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Coordinate with logistics team for seamless inbound/outbound operations
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and enhance productivity
- Generate and analyze performance reports for operational metrics
- Manage equipment maintenance and facility upkeep
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with team leadership
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and inventory software
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Forklift certification and equipment operation experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles
