Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse staff across shifts, ensuring optimal productivity and safety compliance
- Implement and enforce OSHA standards and cold-chain protocols for perishable goods
- Coordinate inventory management, including cycle counts and WMS system oversight
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum space utilization and efficiency
- Conduct daily safety briefings and incident reporting
- Collaborate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling
- Train staff on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in cold-chain or temperature-controlled environments
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training required
- Proficiency with WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong problem-solving skills for operational challenges
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures and physical demands
- Valid Alaska driver's license with clean record
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred
