Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Train and mentor team members on safety protocols, equipment operation, and efficiency standards
- Implement process improvements to optimize workflow and reduce operational costs
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations (OSHA, DOT)
- Manage performance metrics and generate operational reports
- Coordinate cross-functional communication with transportation and procurement teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Strong leadership potential with ability to motivate diverse teams
- Basic math and computer literacy skills (MS Office required)
- Willingness to complete paid training program (8 weeks duration)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license (forklift certification provided post-training)
