Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Manage 15+ person team with scheduling, training, and performance coaching
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and maintain 99.5% accuracy standards
- Optimize inventory control using WMS systems (SAP experience preferred)
- Collaborate with transportation team on dock scheduling and load planning
- Conduct quarterly process audits and implement continuous improvements
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and escalate critical issues to leadership
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in high-volume distribution
- Proven leadership with team development and conflict resolution skills
- OSHA 30 certification and strong safety compliance knowledge
- Advanced proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- Data-driven decision making with KPI reporting experience
- Forklift certification and experience with AS/RS systems
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Strong problem-solving abilities under pressure
