Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment
- Manage team of 10-15 staff members through scheduling, training, and performance reviews
- Implement lean inventory management practices to optimize space and reduce waste
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Coordinate cross-functional activities with transportation and inventory departments
- Generate performance reports and implement process improvements
- Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and audits
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or supply chain
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training preferred
- Proficient in WMS systems and inventory management software
- Strong leadership skills with conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends as needed
- High school diploma; associate's degree in logistics or business preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking capabilities
