Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse staff through performance coaching and scheduling
- Implement safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance across all warehouse activities
- Optimize storage layout and material handling processes to maximize efficiency
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock operations
- Generate performance reports and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience in a fast-paced logistics environment
- Proven track record in team leadership and staff development
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems (WMS) and safety regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack) safely
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software
- Forklift certification required
